Ward-Level Tracking

Air quality targets are tracked at the ward level across all 369 wards to identify pollution hotspots and ensure targeted interventions.

369 Wards Monitored

Each ward will have real-time air quality sensors reporting PM2.5, PM10, NO2, SO2, and CO levels. Ward-level data will be updated hourly and published on a public dashboard to track progress toward 2026 and 2030 targets.

Data Collection Status: Air quality sensor installation underway. First ward-level reports expected Q3 2026.

Key Actions Being Taken

Initiatives and programs driving progress toward air quality sector targets.

Air Quality Monitoring Network

Installing low-cost sensors in all wards with real-time public dashboards and health alerts.

Construction Dust Control

Mandatory dust suppression measures, green screens, and covered material transport for all sites.

Urban Green Cover

Planting trees along major roads and creating green buffer zones near pollution sources.

Vehicle Emission Checks

Strengthening Pollution Under Control (PUC) enforcement and promoting electric vehicle adoption.

Industrial Emission Controls

Installing continuous emission monitoring systems and enforcing pollution control standards.
